Armed Robbery in Beverly Hills Linked to Christopher Dorner’s Gun
Two men from South America have been connected to a violent armed robbery in Beverly Hills, where a $1 million worth of watches were stolen. The suspects, identified as Jammer Mauri and Theo (Jamer Mauricio), approached a family at a restaurant in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on August 7. One of the men brandished a handgun, fired at the victim, and then proceeded to steal a valuable watch from him.
Shortly after the incident, investigators executed a search warrant at an Airbnb in Expo Park, where they discovered a handgun that belonged to former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner. Dorner, known for a brutal attack in 2013, took his own life following a manhunt in the San Bernardino mountains.
Discovery of Christopher Dorner’s Gun Leads to Arrests
Following the discovery of Dorner’s gun in the Airbnb, police apprehended two men believed to be connected to another armed robbery in Beverly Hills. The suspects, Sepulveda and Padron, were taken into custody and now face charges related to robbery and possession of a firearm.
Authorities are still investigating how the suspects obtained Dorner’s gun and whether it was used in any other crimes. The case has prompted a joint effort from multiple law enforcement agencies, including Homeland Investigations and the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Continued Investigation and Legal Action
As the investigation unfolds, prosecutors are working to build a case against the suspects involved in the armed robbery. Sepulveda faces charges that could result in a life sentence, while Padron could be sentenced to up to 20 years in federal prison.
The collaboration between law enforcement agencies underscores the seriousness of the case and the determination to bring those responsible to justice. Detectives are committed to uncovering the full extent of the suspects’ criminal activities and ensuring that they face the consequences of their actions.
