The driver of a silver Toyota Camry fled the scene without stopping to offer assistance, leaving the pedestrian in critical condition. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the pedestrian, identified as Roman Lizaola-Montano, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Jesus A. Bartolo, was located and taken into custody shortly after the incident.
