Heroic Good Samaritan Saves Man from Violent Teen Attack in Downtown Los Angeles

Earlier this month in downtown Los Angeles, a group of teenagers on bikes violently attacked and robbed a man, leaving him with a broken leg and severe injuries. In a harrowing incident at the intersection of Olympic Avenue and Hope Street, Shailoobek Bazarbai Uulu was targeted by the group, leading to a terrifying ordeal.

The Violent Encounter

According to Uulu, the attack began when the teenagers surrounded his car, escalating as they threw objects at his vehicle. When he got out to assess the situation, the situation quickly turned violent. With about 30 teenagers attacking him, Uulu was defenseless and suffered significant injuries.

A Hero Steps In

Janeth Garcia, a Good Samaritan who was driving for Uber Eats at the time, witnessed the attack and decided to intervene. Putting her own safety at risk, she stepped in and rescued Uulu from the violent mob. Her quick thinking and bravery saved Uulu’s life, as she held him close and moved him to safety.
