Long Beach Police Investigate Double Shooting Involving Two Men
Long Beach police are currently investigating a double shooting incident that occurred on Saturday night, resulting in injuries to two men. Authorities confirmed the incident to KTLA, stating that officers from the Long Beach Police Department responded to a stop near Alamitos Avenue and 5th Street. An adult male was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body on the street just before 10 p.m.
Police immediately provided life-saving measures to the victim until Long Beach Fire Department medics arrived and transported him to the hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. Another male victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his lower body, drove himself to the hospital and is also listed in stable condition.
